Engineer by education and marketer by profession and passion, I started SMJ Consultants in 2016, prior to which I was a working professional. In my early days, I worked in corporates, climbing up the hierarchy with added responsibilities. My last stint was handling Pan India sales and marketing.
My key strength is in offline sales and marketing strategy building and execution, particularly for engineering and FMCG products. I believe it’s never B2B or B2C but it’s always H2H (Heart to Heart)
I have worked across diverse market segments like defense, oil and gas, power, railways, and industrial segments, and have engaged with contractors as well as government organizations. I now utilize my learnings from my vast experience to help businesses grow and strengthen their sales and marketing strategies from the ground up!
With more than 2 decades of experience in private and government sector businesses, specifically in North India (Auto, Defense, Oil and gas, Railway and Power sector), Naveen brings rich experience and knowhow of solving industry problems with products – and also their installation and commissioning. He has worked with products from ITT, Parker, CKD etc, with expertise in compressed air, piping systems, and machine tools, to name a few.
Yuvraj brings his experience of handling key accounts and business development from his past stints with businesses and his corporate background. He has been catering to tools, piping systems, etc for South India and across other key locations. He has experience in government and private sector, in the areas of Auto, Defense, Shipyard, and Machine tools.
A technocrat in the central part of India, covering major parts of steel, cement and coal belts in the central Indian region, Suraj has been instrumental in developing businesses in the most difficult environments and demanding conditions. With strong experience in handling capital goods and consumables, he is the go to person for any steel or cement industry opportunity.
Ms. Nalini has 10+ years of experience in Hydro and Solar power sectors in the Indian market. She has worked with SN Power, which is a Norwegian hydro power utility investing in large hydro power projects worldwide. Their work in Business Development includes identifying new targets for investments, and supply of sediment removal systems in international markets like Nepal, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Laos, Vietnam, etc for both Solar and Hydro Power sectors, and also Business Development in the Food Processing Industry, supply of sediment removal systems, Trash Rack Cleaning Machines, and indigenous products of India.
A thorough professional, Vaibhav has an overall experience of 15 years in the oil & gas industry, catering to the most demanding applications with cutting edge technologies. His expertise lies in flow measurement, corrosion and actuators, etc. He has been catering to customers in the private and government sectors on a Pan India level.
After more than 28 years of Military service, with a long and impressive senior officer career in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), Nir pivoted his executive experiences of leadership, commanding, and management, to the front end of the business and innovation sector. With a vision to empower Israel-Canada relationship and creating a bilateral economic corridor between the countries, Nir has Founded ICaN, and is acting as Vice President at the Israel-Canada Chamber of Commerce. Nir has successfully created a strong business network, both in the sub-diplomatic and the private sector.
The best way to describe Prasad is – a person who is always actively in hunt of business ideas that have the potential to become the giants of tomorrow and beyond. Coming from a finance background, numbers have always intrigued him. Prasad is not only involved in growing business ideas but has a hands on command in business processes enhancement. A calculative and projective decision maker with a networking mindset, he likes to connect with people from different backgrounds and ideologies.
Living in the black gold region surrounded by SAIL, Tata and many steel plants, coal mines, and major government consultants and approving authorities like MECON, CET etc, Praveen is the go-to man for all issues regarding East India government sector in steel and coal. With over 18 years of experience, he manages to handle both capital equipment and component level businesses.
